Okay so for the N. Hemisphere we get to see these comets on the way to the sun, and on the way out the S. Hemisphere gets to see them? Is that pretty much the rule?

A Cometic should outlast a stock style gasket too.
I've used them 3 times: once on the 8V when I put the 531 on, once on the 16V with the stock head, once with the Heebed 16V head .
Never had an issue with leaking.

Terry Lovejoy has made a ground based discovery of a sungrazer comet C/2011 W3 (Lovejoy). It will pass 0.2 degrees from the sun 16th December and reach a predicted -7.0 magnitude (minus 7). This will be visible in the SOHO and STEREO cameras

I had my heads milled for 83 cc. My piston and cylinder deck height shows .0015 above cylinder. I want to get compression between 9.54-9.81. What size and type head gasket should I use.?

With what you have for your setup a .030 gasket on the calculator would get you around 9.5:1 static .
