Can any recommend a good comic book reader (for the .cbr format)? I am currently using ComicRack but it is Windows only and it seems heavy (not sure how it will run well on a netbook). Looking for Windows (64-bit) based reader that can synch with an iPhone...

I've actually found ComicRack to be quite lightweight - it's running used: Cdisplay You can... .
Comix , is a Linux only (for now) comic reader based on PyGTK.
Comical is an open-source cross-platform comic book reader.
Whos going to the Readers Den Free Comic Day festival? Every year Readers den has a festival (filled with nerds of cors). They give away free comic books and stuff... there are also comic book movies shown... etc.

As a general rule, the words Rob Leifeld on a comic are a sign though.
That being said (original series) will satisfy this need.

Web Letterer is my favorite of the free ones, though it's uppercase-only .
Which is the point :-) Blambot.com has a number of high-quality free and pay comic lettering fonts.
I know, it's not very much like Comic Sans.

Will someone recommend a good reader for comic books? I have .cbr files and no way to read them. I am running WinXP SP2 on an old PC. I am looking for freeware that is safe. Thnx a bunch.

I believe it's free.
I haveI use Comic Book Lover but I think it's only for Mac but try Comic Rack .
I use a reader called ffview.
Googled and found this on eHow.
In regular digital comic format.

Now when I say new reader friendly, I mean what can you give to anyone? Even someone who has never read a comic. not just someone new to a character or universe. I have done this thread before in the past (If I remember correctly) but it has been years...
