Well to be fair most of our mythology has common roots with the rest of Northern Europe.
Aside from school or religious instruction, I’d think most of these would be fairly common knowledge lot.

Is it common for American's to interpret the English as being rude, even when they're not? This was a really hard question for me to word. I'm not trying to be rude- my fiance is English, I'm American. Sometimes I think when we talk I'm misunderstanding...

I've never met an Englishman/Brit who was anything but kind .
I hope not.
In that case, yes oftentimes British people can seem rude to Americans because they often have a very dry, sarcastic type of humour.
I assume by English you mean British.

Could it have become as suceessful as the EU has become? Was it ever feasible? South American leaders certainly had a cross border agreement on taking out dissidents as under operation Condor! So why not an economic agreement?

EDIT: As has been suggested this was for readability reasons, rather than writing 1 or 1 . I know I can create my own just wanted to check that they didnt already exist...
