Is there any Linux firewall like ZoneAlarm, Keiro or Comodo in Windows environment?
I like to to able to monitor and block any Linux program from making in/out TCP/UDP connections on per application base.
netfilter, ipfilter can only handle it on system...

Thats something.
But I am not a friend of per application/process firewall rules.
Are you looking for something like the Linux-Firewall app?
I think iptables can do these things as the windows counterpart.

Recently reinstalled everything on my computer and upgraded my firewall to the latest free one from Comodo. I can no longer access emails using outlook express and the settings are the same as before and use the IMAP settings rather than Pop.

Unfortunately we are unable to support you on using Comodo Firewall however can I ask you to disable the firewall for a minute and try accessing Outlook then if you still can't get email's.

I have another PC running Windows XP-SP3 with Comodo Firewall together with Comodo AV.
With Comodo Firewall (and using Panda Cloud Antivirus as a separate program).

With regard to CPU usgae etc, CIS 5.8 uses about ~20mb of memory... .
There are no conflicts that i'm aware of with Avast & Comodo FW.
I would never.
Avast! has a better AV from many tests at this time around .

There would be a conflict between windows firewall and comodo firewall as to whom would be handling traffic scanning, but during the install comodo would turn off windows firewall for you if you chose to usewhat windows....
