But I am not a friend of per application/process firewall rules.
Are you looking for something like the Linux-Firewall app? I think iptables can do these things as the windows counterpart.

Unfortunately we are unable to support you on using Comodo Firewall however can I ask you to disable the firewall for a minute and try accessing Outlook then if you still can't get email's.

Comodo AV may lack a bit, but the firewall....

With regard to CPU usgae etc, CIS 5.8 uses about ~20mb of memory... .
There are no conflicts that i'm aware of with Avast & Comodo FW.
I would never.
Avast! has a better AV from many tests at this time around .

So what was the issue with Comodo Firewall? Isn't Comodo a certificate (SSL) company.

We used Comodo (formerly Trustix) firewall a centrally managed....
I stopped but surely there are far better solutions out there .
I have never used the Comodo Antivirus, but I used to be a big fan of their firewall.

There would be a conflict between windows firewall and comodo firewall as to whom would be handling traffic scanning, but during the install comodo would turn off windows firewall for you if you chose to usewhat windows....
