Hello....
I am having problems installing FileZilla.... it constantly send me the error that I need wxWidgets. I do have that component installed and to be sure, I have recompiled it.
To compile FileZilla, I am using the following command:
./configure...

Sometimes it's only a missing or wrong path variable, as several OS may not use the default paths for packets such as wxWidgets .
This log should reveal where the process fails exactly.
You'd need to post the compilation log.

You'd have to test the installer on Windows seconds and everything gets built automatically....

Small 20 MB update today....several packages upgraded & filezilla removed.
I am sure all will be okay in a day or so, but this application is one of the most needed on my system.

You simply do the same thing as you do with FileZilla for which you also have no ....
FileZilla as a whole requires to re-instal the operating system again).
Of SQLite is needed for that particular function causing the compile error.

What I have done is compiled a kernel image on my home server (I'm about 250 miles away, thank god for ssh). Anyway, once that was done, I used FileZilla to copy the image on my MacBook. I then added the kernel image in an .iso file so I could load it...

Edit: Also, I think about compile warnings and errors than Microsoft's compiler so if you grow to like the Unix environment I'd recommend to develop there and then....
No need to use Filezilla over SSH.
Plus You have history of changes.

If the ~/.filezilla directory cannot be created FileZilla will be unable/.filezilla
These two commands correct the permissions on your home directory and if it already exists, the .filezilla subdirectory....

Been stuck with this for past hour and couldn't figure out what is going on
I compile sources on server where I have compile folder shared over ftp.
Once compiled, on client I refresh files and download them to client.
For some reason downloaded files...
