Recently ( 4 months ago ) aquired this PSE Stinger , after " picking up the bow" again after a long hiatus from archery . And I must say , this bow is a SWEET , smooth-shooting bow ( I would expect nothing less from these fellas !) !...

Mathews Apex 7 Compound Bow

Which one and why??
Its legal in PA to use either Crossbow or Compound. I am goin to start archery hunting this year. I was set on getting a crossbow, Im all about getting the clean kill, more than the challenge.

Hunted in ohio with crossbow since i was young, just picked up older mountaineer archery ranger to start out with. due to w.v laws i cannot use crossbow any longer

Keep in mind the limbs have to come back off the pocket and allow into the limb angle and limb length, which allows for the bow to be more forgiving if you flench during your me, but this is what I have learned ....
Never made a bow myself.

My gym buddy owns a few and made an effort to convince me to buy one. I was more interested in guns. I was watching second season of top shot and saw the bow episode, I must admit I have quite a bit more respect and intrigue for the bow and arrow now....
