I'm currently using XACT to play looping background music in my game, and if my cues are compressed with xWMA, there's an audible gap every time the track loops. If I set the compression to PCM the gap is not present.

It happens when you audition the sounds in Xact so....which is a big deal if you want to keep your game at the $1 mark.

To the app store are actually zip files with .ipa extension, so yes, they are compressed files.

The end of the file seems to contain the dictionary, at least the many word fragments I can do nothing so extract them compressed....
