A couple questions about NFP that are somewhat interrelated:
1- What did people do before modern NFP and ABC? For example, back in biblical times how did married couples postpone/space having children? Maybe it's obvious, but was abstinence the only choice...

THEN if my temps and other indicators say that I've ovulated late, like on day 15 or 16, then I extend the condom use for two days after.
On or after day 14, We use condoms on days 10-16 just based on history.

NFP doesn't work too well for....
I have 4.5 and almost 4 years between my last 2 kids and used only NFP handle.
So, FAM it is.
I can't take hormones, don't want the copper IUD, and condoms just aren't realistic for me long term.

My 3rd is now 7 weeks old. I EBF but that does not stop anything. With the last two I had a completely regular and predictable cycle with 2 to 3 months.
In the past I have taken pills. I do not have any reactions to the hormones but being on birth control...

If you do that, you can sucessfully NFP, but i personally the "no brainer" approach to bc.
As for NFP read "taking charge of your fertility" and watch your cycles like a hawk temp daily, chart, etc.
Use an IUD as my chosen form of bc.

IUD here, then when it's time to get that removed- if DH and I still are happy with just 2... .
Then I'll be in the "whatever happens" catagory.
But I have something like 14 more pills and I'm not starting another pack .
I clicked the pill one.

What do you use if any? I am still BF my daughter @ 17 mos and havent been on anything since getting pregnant. I am trying to go the most natural, least harmful route and also still have milk. I am interested in hearing about NFP if anybody is doing this...

Its well known that sex without condoms is classed as unsafe, some guys wear condoms and some choose not to.
When it comes down to it, its the personal choice of those sexual partners whether they do or not.

I use NFP even though I don't personally think condoms are wrong on those topics, but they're still very hard for me to JOYFULLY obey.
