Few if any popular conspiracy theories have a basis in fact.
The only major conspiracy theory I can think of that has any sort of credence is the JFK one.

A good conspiracy theory has to some basis in fact for it too have any believability and for people to sucked in. There has been serious journalistic programmes and articles about some of these theories and they are rarely conclusive at endorsing or dismissing...
