Are his scales pine coning? That would be a sure sign of dropsy .
In which case, if it's progressed that far, I hate to say it, but your fish is probably a lost cause .
That doesn't sound like constipation to me, that sounds like dropsy.

Bettas are not warm blooded and cannot only ever ate bloodworms- ....

Other than that, keep them like you would a regular betta - warm water, a variety of food you use it, but that's what I use ....

He is still a little pineconed but a lot less that he is not improving .

I agree with kim, but freeze dried foods often expand in their stomach too, the same thing she is warming about on the bread. The bread can lead to constipation and resulting "swim bladder" issues. IF you must feed him bred sometimes, feed him shelled...

That's why its common practice to soak freeze dried foods before feeding them .
If you want to feed treats look into frozen or freeze dried blood worms or shrimps .
Overall not good.
It's also high in sodium and expands in their stomachs .

If it does not go away in a day or two, he may be constipated.
Goes away before feeding him again.
