I have a very small pension from a company no longer trading in the UK. It's not a large amount the last correspondence I had on it was 1995.

Hi, I have just sold some shares in a German company and it was handled by a german bank. They have charged 52% witholding tax on the profit. I am a UK resident, so how do I go about reclaiming some or all of the witheld tax?

Authority (FSA), i dont know if there is a single european body that you could contact which could provide more information or put you on the right path to claim back your tax.
