I know it seems the pots are usually the standard place to solder pickup ground wires, but some also use the output jack, and Fender is fond of using the tremolo claw. Is there any reasoning behind where you solder the ground to, or does it really matter...

The back of the pots are the easiest point to solder to so that is where it usually done.
The better the ground contact, an improved reduction in noise.
Are important as it is the common return path electricity .

Is a rocker that is worn like that fixable? I'll try to post a picture later tonight. If anyone's got a picture of what the radius ought to look like, that would be helpful.
