Is it okay to just jump the two wires on the control valve and leave them tie together THIS IS ON A GAS HOT WATER HEATER THERE IS TWO WIRE COMING OUT OF IT THE OLD VALVE DIDN'T HAVE THESE

I have a heater control valve from an 89 4Runner on my 86 4Runner, the 89 heater control valve is plastic, so it wont corrode like the original heater vale does.

I am looking for a pedal (foot) operated hydraulic motor control valve, but searched have come up empty.

control valves,they are an OEM and probably aren't interested in selling you one valve off welcome aboard!! You can use a cylinder valve to control a motor,but it'l stop and lock hydraulics makes a nice valve....

So my heater control valve on my 2002 Astro split on the way home from work tonight, spitting out all my coolant. I was able to pull over quickly, but not before the temp needle pegged (crossing my fingers the head gasket is still ok).
