GTL loses controller settings... Hi all.
Has anyone experienced their wheel/keyboard settings going AWOL when trying to exit the garage? Its happened two or three times in the last week where I've tried to exit the pits only to find that my accelerator...

Usually Alt + F will reset the settings

OK, I know there has been a lot of driving controller questions recently, but I will add mine to the pile...
I am using a Logitech Driving Force (technically a PS2 wheel, but it has usb), and calibration went fine when installing the logitech profiler...

In the Windows control panel under game controllers (maybe devices>game controllers if Win7/settings window.

Is there a way to play single player with the Wheel and switch to a controller without having to reset the playstation?
I lose the ability to steer if that wheel was hooked up and I switch over to a controller even if I unplug the wheel completely. No...

Once the game is loaded, press and hold the PS-button on the ds3.
Assign a ds3 to be controller 1 at the same time.

Booted up Rfactor again! Lovely stuff with the Super Touring Cars 1.6 mod.
I'm playing with a USB game-pad and the steering is very extreme. One sudden move and it's full lock jolting the car.

Edit: The first 2 settings in UserData\Controller, I will try those later....
Edit: The first 2 settings enable smoothing in one of the controller files.
Buy a wheel You can enable smoothing in one of the controller files.

The game earlier I went into steering settings and the default setting for ffb was set at 5 control settings didn't seem to make any difference to me at all.

I strongly suggest that you look at reviews of steering wheels to help you .
Could invest in more advanced wheels like the Logitech G25 / G27 , Fanatec wheels or even settings while driving.

I have a G25, and spend 99% of the time racing around the Nurburgring.
I also use a Logitech Driving Force EX, and find I can control the car in most slide/spin scenarios. But with the G25, as soon as I start to lose it, I can guarantee it'll leve me ...

I have a G25 and I canIts probably because the G25 is a 900 degree wheel when the EX is only like 200 degrees rotation.
I seriously doubt its a programming issue.
