It may sounds crazy, pouring away a beer or two, but occasionally its worth the sacrifice. I've made Boulevard Dry Stout meatloaf, and plenty of beer bratwurts (usually with something cheap) that always turn out good. There's also the obvious beer batter...

I often use beer to cook, or grill, rather, because I have never used it on anything cooked with beer, but then again, I rarely ever cook :).

You should never consider eating beer chicken if you intend driving. Chicken can seriously effect your reactions and in some states is illegal. Remember, to eat chicken you must be over 21 years of age, or 300 lbs, whichever comes sooner.

Shiner Bock is awesome, I can drink it any time of year, with any food, during any activity, any time of day and it's always smooth and refreshing. I really don't think there is a better backyard BBQ beer, esp when doing pork or chicken with a New Mexico...
