Though this subject would be fun! Does anyone remember their first cookbook they ever brought and still have it?The first one I brought was in 1959 and I still have.It is called Praise the cook by Crisco company.

I still use them or refer to them for the basics .
The first one I bought was The New Good Housekeeping Cookbook.
The first one I received was the Pillsbury Kitchen's Cookbook for a wedding shower gift.

I'm interested in collecting the 'best' recipes for common dishes. Recipes that perhaps have little tips and tricks to make the best version of every day dishes. Perhaps there's already a cookbook devoted to this?
