My mum always adds and the chickpeas weren't cooked enough (didn't use tin) so it wasn't great I have loads left over.
I think it goes really well with the braised chickpeas.
Not as wet as cooked rice though.
Do you have to boil them first if you want to make hummus?

Ive never really been a fan of cooking chickpeas..
I just buy the Delmaine ones in the can.
