I use it pretty much like rice.
Have a little sniff of the open bag before you cook it: if it smells grainy/nutty/sweet anything.
My instinct suggests that if it smells like fermentation when you cook it, then it is probably fine.

Dumb question but do I cook 10 chicken breasts just as long as i normally cook 2? They will all be in the same pan, not one on top of the other.

This is the setup at one of our camping/party sites in NCthe more there are, the longer you cook them i think As long as they are all evenly touching the pan, the time doesn't change that much....
Surface the cooking time doesnt change.
