Cooking question. I am using mince instead of cubed steak in a casserole? I fried the mince and veg then put it all in a casserole dish in the oven on 4. The packet says cook for 2 hours, will mince take less time?

The longer the cook , at lower temperatures to fatty but using steak covered with some flour first before frying helps the steak cooks better and its the better....

You can heat it gently at half power and it will turn kinder/lesser point .

I love steak but DH normally only cooks it in the summer time when we BBQ. In fact I don't think I've ever cooked a steak myself. I have 2 striploins thawing for supper and no idea what to do with them. Anyone?
