Bought some steaks to cook for the boyfriend on valentines day ... trouble is, i've not actually cooked steak before ... haha ... so i'm gonna practice first on myself. Oh and what goes good with steak? Any tips? Thanks p.s. will be cooking it in a pan...

These times are for each side of the steak apart....
Whenever I cook steak I season the streak with salt and pepper and lightly coat the cooking times that I rend to stick to for a 2/3cm steak.
Be repeating but whatever.
