Haven't seen many threads here, so I wanted to ask. What is the general consensus of chemical flushes, such as the Prestone super flush stuff? I'm thinking of draining my coolant, re-filling with water and draining again, remove thermostat and then re...

Waste of time and money imho system a chemical flush....
Last coolant flush I did was in 1972.
Right after I did I ended up with a water pump no leaks or problems afterwards .
The only time I used a coolant flush was years ago.

CAMARO OWNER Cheap...do it.
It's been about 45k miles since the last cooling overhaul. I'm thinking about doing a coolant flush. Is it a waste of money or would it actually do my cooling components good?

Just do it.
And try to blow out all the coolant, flush with distilled, then refill.
