Currently i've been using the CoolerMaster 350w Elite powersuppy as a replacement for OEM(dell/hp/compaq/gateway/emachines/etc) computers after the original unit has gone bad, so far so good... should i keep using them?

But 460w is a waste.
PSU wise, you pretty much get an improvement over what ever pos was in there to begin with .
To the Coolermaster 400w or 460w units, they're FSP which are decent units.

I was looking at the "Elite 460".

Newegg lists it as 460 "max" power. Which means it's not a true 460W.

Well, I was going to get those XigmaTek put much stress like above 400w on it as its rated max power 460w, so keeping it at a little lower, they are decently priced ....
To be fair, ive only used 1 coolermaster PSU and never had a problem.

80 ºC is WAY too much for that CPU.
Coolermaster PSUs are great (just make sure it has at least 550W).
