Too many websites with silly "copy protection" pop-up messages on right click, I guess.
I believe Opera deliberately fails to pass right clicks to scripts.

Say you wanted a greasemonkey script to be compatible with safari and chrome,
whereas in firefox the gm scripts only run when the dom is ready chrome, safari + opera, seem to run the gm scripts before the dom is ready.

If you want to run some code after page load, event listeners not necessary at all .
It works on Greasemonkey, Opera, and Safari Greasekit.

Have you checked Opera's error console....
An easy test for this may be to try moving your .js to a different path on the host .
I had some problems with Opera in the past and they answered Opera.
You should ask in the Opera Forums.
