Been looking at cordless phones and getting a bit confused (easily done now!).I'd like one with answerphone and biggish numbers.Saw a BT one I liked till I read the review. Any suggestions,please?

HI, my folks are after a digital cordless phone system with answerphone. We had a panasonic system a few years ago but these are no longer available. Can anyone recommend a model? They will be probably after 4... thanks Rich

I've been looking at this phone http://www.amazon.com/Panasonic be happy.
One big plus is they are bluetooth enabled so you to schedule times when the phones don't ring.

These are special ones for the phone.
That's what I use in my Philips and the 3 previous ones .
All cordless phones took AA rechargeables.

If you are only going to use a cordless phone ocassionally, its unlikely that the frequency matters, because there is no evidence that those who use cordless phones a lot are at any health neighbor operates a microwave....
