I have a core 2 duo desktop, but in taskman i can only see one panel in the performance tab, where i'm certain there should be two. Also, in perfmon, under Processor -> % Processor Time, there is only "_Total" and "0" instance.
Am i missing some dual...

Edited be made using anandtech'....
Its over 2 years newer according to launch date.
Edit: Go with the pentium over the C2D.
The core 2 duo has better cache and bus speed call.
But in my opinion that one is too close to call. .
