It's not perfect, but at least you can get.
Hardcore rap (or Brian Adams) music on their (actually a corporate asset) iPhone, and possible a well written usage policy with your IT/Corporate security.

For the most part,....
It allows us to work fairly effectively across sites in the USA and outside the USA .
Do you count IBM Rational (Atria) ClearCase with Multisite as a DVCS? We've been using it for 15 years now, including 7 years before IBM bought us .

It is a slow, very slow.
Not much you can do to change corporate policy that is very fast.
Opposite reaction and loved .NET because it had the ability to lock down the environment with the trust permissions.

I use them at my own environment, the added hg push is less of an overhead than commiting to the central svn repo.
In my opinion, yes, they are suitable for corporate use.
Be suitable for all DVCS.

Good Luck If (by some chance) you know the full Active Directory ... .
You should be able to browse to that path on the network .
(start-> Rn-> CMD) type - set u (it will give you the profile path including roaming profile path) .
