I've read just about every lift thread on this forum and haven't seen a definate answer to this question. Is the Corn Fed lift worth the extra ~$100 over the Daystar? If so, why? Its time to buy a lift and the corn fed 2/1 or the daystar 2.5/1.5 are one...

On Saturday, April 7, 2012... I sprinkled/poured Corn Meal (all I had on hand was the white) on one fire ant mound. And across the yard I used Corn Starch on another.

Was wondering what it costs the big guys per acre to plant corn these days. I just bought seed and fertilizer for only 3 acres and couldn't believe the cost. I obviously pay more for the small amounts but I don't have labor and big equipment costs either...

Nobody has....
My cost per acre this year was $349.68, thats everything but fuel.
It and it turns out the consultant was right.The big guys will keep the rest of us in feed corn at or near cost with the calculator with all my receipts.

Because cats ingest a little of their litter when cleaning themselves, I'm concerned about the percentage of pesticide present in CORN based cat litter.

I have some hay that dont look to good. I was going to take first cutting off then put corn in. Would I be better off no tilling the corn in or work it up then put plant. I would have to pay someone to notill it in.
