What would be the best on a cut?
Normal cottage cheese has a good amount of fat in it and since fat slows down digestion it would be a good source of casein
Low fat cottage cheese has lower fat and sometimes a higher carb amount.

Cottage cheese during contest prep is it ok to use fat free cottage cheese during contest prep and then cut it out 3 weeks out? or should i cut it out sooner?

Can anyone recommend a tasty brand of fat-free cottage cheese? I've only tried Wal-Mart store brand and it has a funny aftertaste. Or do all fat-free cottage cheeses taste like this and it's something I will just have to learn to like?

What I have instead is called "1% no salt added ....
It is so salty I cannot eat it.
1st, you don't have to learn to like anything!! CC STAND fat free cottage cheese of any kind.
I enjoy Trader Joe's fat free cottage cheese.

This probably sounds really crazy, but does anyone think that the cottage cheese here is different? I've not really eaten it much but we have some now and it seems sour-er, almost. I don't know if it's just the brand that my hubby brought home (co-op)...
