I have a recipe calling for small curd cottage cheese. I might be showing my ignorance here but can anyone tell me the difference between a regular tub of cottage cheese easily available at any grocery store and small curd cottage cheese?

What is Hoodia Large curd cottage cheese has large curds of cottage cheese.
Large curd is labeled "large curd." The only difference.
cottage cheese is small curd cottage cheese.

Don't know if I dreamed this or just want it. I make the WW key lime pie with SF jello, yogurt, and cool whip but think it would be better with the protein of cottage cheese.

This probably sounds really crazy, but does anyone think that the cottage cheese here is different? I've not really eaten it much but we have some now and it seems sour-er, almost. I don't know if it's just the brand that my hubby brought home (co-op)...
