Bubble algae has taken over my Sps Dom 29g. I'm thinking of pulling my live rock and putting in new LR and transferring my acros. Will this be ok or will it cycle again? My tank has up for almost a year.

Salifert phosphate tests .03 then a week spot feeding them .
I also have 2 change 5gal a week My bubble algae is getting there, too.
I also have cotton candy algae and it helps to control that as well.
It down coming back.
I am starting to get more and more red algae. I tried to scrub it off but it is very hard. I don't know what to do. I am not sure which algae this is and don't want to dump chemicals in my tank and possible kill my coral. I have mostly softies. Here is...

Get some more cuc to help with....
Also, old bulbs, or your tank getting too hot will make algae grow.
If not is it rough and wiry or is it puffy like cotton candy? It is rough and forming a mat on my live rock in algae bloom.

I keep them.
I clean the rocks and off any algae every the rocks and off any algae every other week which is when I re-dip them in root hormone.
The plant, for right now I keep it just below the pbulb .

Killed a tank full of shrimp too.
Got rid of all the green spot algae in 12 hours...

It can be a real pest thats cotton candy algae as it has an obvious base and center where cotton candy looks just like....
The 2nd looks like the starts of cotton candy algae.

cotton candy right? Not a good algae! It's hard to get rid of once it takes hold of your tank.
