Expected.
They had some of the lowest property tax in Ontario.
We still pay way less property tax than for years.
Better than 7% like Missisauga is contemplating I guess.

For the second home discount they ask for the council tax reference number of the primary home - so I think council tax elsewhere in the UK.

be it council tax or csa
does the court seal need to be on the summons to be legal I have seen it before.

If you pay by direct debit they normally split it into 12 payments,we just pay .
Council tax local council.
It is done via property size I believe down here .
Water which covers both charges.

Out of all the taxes there is, this one seems to be unfairest one as its often not based on people's true ability to pay, but what is the best way of getting rid of it?

Just recieved a letter from Ross and Roberts, acting for Rochford District council for late council tax on a property we used to live in. (now moved house)

Their payment directly to the council, you could try that and if the payment is accepted then just tell the bailiffs to stick it because you're paying the council directly.
