Why makes Taylor swift music not pure country but instead pop country? Explain to me why Taylor Swift is a pop country singer instead of a True Country Music singer like George Strait?

My daughter who is a fan of her's, stated to me that she doesn't consider her to be a country....
There is a sound, and feel that country music has, and the bulk of what she does, lacks the feel, and sound that makes it country.

IMO, country music died in the 90's.

Country music and suicide rates are studied here, and the conclusion is that country music is linked to suicides. I usually just turn it off, as that is less difficult than suicide.
