Ive read that the dry beans you get at the store make decent seed. Will they grow properly up north and will freezing the beans hurt them as seed?

Poking in my book (it's my 1st week) I see that it only mentions the original porridge, however I only have Raspberry & Cranberry flavoured oatsosimple. Can I add a few syns for not using original, or is that just a no no for a HEb??

Fresh Market had some Hungarian Mushroom soup, having that. It's not canned. Also will have a little brocolli-cranberry slaw and a ciabatta roll.
