So I have a 1947 GMC 1st series 1.5 ton truck and decided to put my anthony dump bed/ hoist on it and found out there's no pto shaft! I have a later transmission, a SM420 with a pto shaft and was wondering if I could use the pto assembly. According to...

Swapping everything leads to clutch linkage....
However, the clutch housing to the engine is the same .
The bolt pattern on the clutch housing is different also .
The pto is different in the two.
The SM420 has helical gears.
The first series has spur type gears.

Re: The "Official" Forza 3 Record Lap Times thread! Hmmm....guess it's time to send my crashbox crutch was going to manual with clutch, that was tough.
My wish list would go something like this: 1970 -1990 vintage Light industrial or similar 201 engine Planetary rear end 3 pt hitch at least 1 remote industrial loader solid front axle 8/2 or 6/4 transmission independent PTO a 515 comes to mind!

PTO was offered not rule out a 545(A) though.
For a loader I would go (I have one with 3-point, but still no PTO.) The 6/4 manual is one standard tranny.
An 8x2 crashbox or a TC variant of a 4 speed or the 8 speed syncro.

At work with have late model trucks with manual transmissions - everything from "1 ton" pickups to Class 8 tractors.
Now what has changed with bicycles? Jobst.
Drives a manual shift car bought in the last 15 years.
