I just found out that when my mail was stolen in December, someone used 3 of those to the tune of $3500! Ouch!
This was on a Citibank card.
When I canceled the card and got a new one, I asked that I not be sent those checks!

Only credit card we still have is our USAA card.
Could get checks, they worked like a check anyway but would be charged to your credit card.
