To discuss crochet, hand knitting, loom knitting, etc.? Also wondering if anyone has had any success enough crochet to make a simple dishcloth.
Okay, I've got the chain down, now to single crochet. When you put your need in the stitch to crochet, do you come up with one thread or two?

I crochet chevron afghans that work off the back loop.
Maybe, back loop, or alternate front and back.

Question about cotton crochet thread? I have 2 cones of cotton thread and have used it in the past to make dish cloths. I would like a pattern to make something different. I went to the site "Peaches and Cream" that makes the thread, but it was no help...

Are crocheted skirts out of style? Does anything in bellydance truly go "out of style"? I am thinking about the mermaidy-type skirt with a big flounce at the bottom. Tulay wore that style sometimes. Thanks!

Yep just tie the end to the new roll....
