Is there some kind of online resource to help identify patches of crown land in amongst the other leases?
At the moment I google -- which does not help -- although it does...

Brand New GP100 4" SS-Is this crown OK? 1 Attachment(s) Just picked up my GP100 off of layaway, noticed a couple or small scratches(dings) near the crown. Any reason to be concerned?

Functionally, that crown is 100%.
The crown completely protected the rifling lands the workforce wearing bunny suits and clean white cotton gloves etc.
That's what crowns are for.
I think it's OK.

Maybe I read this wrong, but the service grade special is supposed to have collectors grade metal, which means there should be no damage to the barrel crown?

Bores will be generally good with only minor imperfections.
My FG SA has a crown about like yours.
These are shooters, not collector rifles.
It can be nicked.
