Where can I buy legit Cuban cigars? I'm thinking of doing a day-trip to Havana and I've heard that this is where the Cohibas can be found... Anyone whose bought cigars in Cuba before have any tips?

Nothing beats a fresh rolled cigar.
If you decide to buy "black market" cigars, you should also know that they could and beach cigars at about 1-2 cuc per cigar.

BTW these are the same cigars that are often sold to tourists for several dollars them i look for a tour of a cigar factory and buy them there ...get a reciept gov regulated cigars.
Ask any Cuban.

I just read you can buy them on Isla Mujeres, but it looks like we won't be able to fit that in. Does anyone know if that is the only place in the area where they are available? We'll be staying in Tulum.

You'll certainly find Cuban cigars in Cancun, either at tobacco shops or larger gift shops geared to tourists.
Never fear, you'll find them.
Where there are tourists there are Cuban cigars.

I'm a newbie to the cigar world. While reading CA cigar ratings, I noticed non cuban cigars are not sold in the UK. (exception was Davidoff)Can anyone explain?

In the shops they cost about the same as Cuban cigars.
Order cigar industry, Cuban cigars are shipped everywhere by enterprising vendors (attractingNon-Cuban cigars are certainly sold in the UK.

Box of 25 Montecristo No.2 cigars, genuine, sealed in the box and with the official hologram tag. I can even show you a receipt if you want. Purchased at a well known cigar factory...
