I found this infall pretty much by chance whilst walking the dog, so nipped back for my camera and came back for a look.
It does not really seem to show up on maps but the infall is in Abney Hall park, i think Chorlton brook runs through the park so this...

Swing brake help I've got a komatau pc-200 that I'm having a problem with the swing brake has anyone had this problem. Is there an adjustment? I can turn on the lock toggle and it works fine but makes it a pain when loading trucks or setting culverts....

It seems like the community public works and limit the depth of flow over the road to 12 inches or less in order to make the road "all weather, doesn't that mean my culvert....
Proposed improvement should simply not make the condition worse.

I used to make mine by wrapping aluminum foil around a bolt tightly then turning the bolt out for a metal corrugated culvert pipe?? About the thickness of a #2 pencil??? For your driveway or your layout I need.

I have a seasonal run off ditch that crosses my drive, it is dry most of the time. It really is the perfect natural creek crossing in that it has fairly even approach from both sides and the creek bed it self is a smooth slab of limestone about 12 feet...

I would elect to install the 36" culvert for trash to get caught on the inlet end....
So you are not diverting as much water as you would expect .
From what I have seen and been told that a culvert will only carry 1/2 of it's volume of water.

The fact that many of the pounds in the Grand Union Marsworth flight have "self drained" during the summit closure is exposing underwater features not normally seen.
This lock for instance features what is presumably a bricked up culvert half way along...

I think agree a single lock would make a less effective side-pond a double stalking ground....
And I was not making notes!
I'm fairly certain the bricked up culvert is at Lock 43, although it is slighly possible would, as at Hillmorton.

I believe thats what it is called. Does anybody know where i can get some of this? I see videos all the time of wakeboarders hitting this stuff as a rail. Its commonly seen in snowboard terrain parks in my area to. So i was wanting to build a wakeboard...

That is double-wall culvert of the culvert.
Can get them in pretty long sections too, if you can transport it .

me culvert is partially but effectively blocked with what appear to be
small rocks/old bricks (+ then silts,leaves, plastic bags etc but it's
the rocks that are the main problem...
