I need some help picking the best deep cycle batteries for charging. I currently own 2 306b chargers and plan to charge a lot of 6S5000 lipos at the field.

Deep cycle batteries should not be discharged below 50 percent of full charge.
DCs are rated in amp of full charge.
"make sure that they are Deep Cycle batteries, not Starting Batteries.

Who/where has the best deal on batteries?
I managed to squeak by with my existing batteries but its time to buy a new cranking battery as well as 2 for the T.motor. Any suggestions?

I personally prefer Trojan deep-cycle batteries, but I am a tiny bit biased since I workWalmart dig up one of your jars! find a deka dealer.

There is a 3yr replacement if they fail.
I do have to replace them this year.
Most M-29" longest set of batteries I've ever had.
One of the important things about a deep cycle batteries it's reserve time.
A $10 core.

I just picked up a couple of Mad Dog 520 mah 20c battery from my LHS and am wondering what's the best way to first charge them so I don't ruin them since they were $10 a piece. I remember seeing a thread somewhere but can't find it again.

I tend to go "cheap" myself and have excellent luck with "cheap" batteries.
You need a computerized charger to be sure of treating your batteries well.

Always keep wet cell batteries charger with a desulfate maintenance mode it will extend the life of the batteries.
Environment, temperature fluctuation causes batteries to loose charge.

I've had the worst luck with these chargers... The one that came with my Humminbird portable pack lasted 1 year, my replacement just died on me today. There's gotta be something better out there... What are you guys using...
