I have never had acne problems until menopause. I get cystic acne that will not go away. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can use or is a dermatologist my only option?

You also need to find out if it is indeed cystic acne Hangers, and Wegmans Milk and dairy products....
Get it professionally treated and don't personal family history and current health .
Go to a derm! Cystic acne is very painful and causes scars.

Marks left by pimples i have gotten rid of most of my pimples but some(two) have left little marks. these where the first i got, i was about 12. It's been almost 2 years, are they going to ever go away??

I have cystic acne (not so much zits and pimples, but great big swellings under the skin) and it's really improved since I stopped drinking so much.
Down on dairy products as another answer mentioned.

I just got this big red pimple thingy but i dont think its a pimple cuz there like 3 on one thing its on the back of my neck and hurts like hell i tryed to pop it and clear liquid came out it is getting bigger..please help

Squeezing an acne cyst may cause types of pimples ranging from mild to severe.
Scarring is common with cystic acne.
Filled.2 They can be painful.

Just wanted to update that the results with Vivite are still great. I've had 3 new little pimples (not cystic) and they were gone as soon as they appeared. That's it...for me, that's amazing. My old acne scars are lightening, and some are gone already...

What this sounds like to me IS a type of herpes. It sounds like HSV1. Which is what i carry. There are two different types of herpes. HSV1 & HSV2. type1 usually appears on the mouth, but it is easily transmitted to the genital area. type2 usually appears...

I had it BAD in my 20's.
I keep an acne body wash....My heart goes out to you with the cystic acne.
Not really bad, but a few pimples here and there.
From regular conditions too.
