I have a number of important family events happening in the near future, some in places where I have shot before and know the lighting is bad, (karate...I have used bounce flash successfully) and some where I will not know about the lighting...

I am thinking of upgrading my D70. i have owned a d70 from day one. But i still have trouble getting a good dynamic range in my photos.
Usually there are some (to) dark bits in my photo's while the rest is ok or good.
Even postprocessing them in NX2 will...

The D90 is a perfect replacement for the D70 my "lower....
Given how rarely you upgrade (I went from my D70 to a D200 to a D700) you to a D90 (I went with the bigger D200) when we replaced them.
That 24mp chip will be a winner).

I'm a Nikon film camera user(i'm usinng F80) and want to buy a D-SLR. Should I just buy D100 (2years old model) or wait for D70(lower grade model)? Can anyone have suggestion?

If I were you...I would go a D70 instead of getting....
And it moved another rung down when that I had for the D70 even though the D200 offered many advantages.
My D70 became my backup camera when I got a D200.

Well, I killed it. Coffee, lockers and cameras are a bad mix.
I am now looking at the D90 (body only) and seeing widely divergent prices online (from 1200 to 400). Can anyone tell me if buying from a site that is selling for 400 is necessarily gray market...

Andy Was ist die maximale Speicherkarten....
D1 zum Beispiel konnte nur 2 GB ansprechen D200 geht).
Viele Grüße Kameras beeinflußt, gelten die oberen Grenzen.
Ich hatte bis vor kurzem noch die d200 und da funktionierten auch die 32 GB CF Karten.
