WTT: 4x DC LVL4 Motors, 4x RE SX (old model) Motors! Looking to trade for old school jbl amps. BP series only!!
Would also look at d2 subs that can take 1200rms + daily.
pics will be updated here in a few mins for all to see!
Thanks guys,

Hey there, I have a customer who is complaining that their new furnace with a dc motor. I explained that the motor will always be changing speed but after about two weeks they began saying that sometimes it sounds like it is going to shut off and then...

I need to control the speed of a DC motor using micro-controller which would take input from a pressure sensor(hydraulic pressure).
I read about 8051 and it seems most widely used micro controller.
But how to configure it with the motor? All the motor...

Hi,
I'm developing Motor Speed Controller for Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor(PMSM).I don't know why people love PWM so much for controlling the speed of the DC/AC motor.Every where I see is the PWM method for speed control, mostly in H-bridge manner...

They are generally more meant for motors like BLDC is kind of stone-age these....
I have a DC motor with the same ratings consider some dspic33 from Motor Control family.
And judge at the end, what would be the better substitute .

Hi. does anyone have real cost savings data between a dc motor furnace (ecm) and AC variable speed? i am trying to decide if i should spend the extra money on an ecm motor furnace.
oddly the "unit amps" listed in the rheem RGFD specs (ecm) says 8.7 and...

Okay guys, here is the situation. I had a custom bungelow built with 2 Goodman-GMV951155DXBC 115,000BTU (DC motors) models installed, one for each level on separate thermostats. Both furnaces have separate supply air ductwork, there is a crawlspace under...

Opened the motors up tonight to look in on what's left of the commutators and brushes, blow out the dust, and as well as wondered just how the 'clutches' work.
The motors are permag DC with 4 pole pieces and 4 brushes (common configuration for motorcycle...

National.
National Instruments Just a quick note, I forgot to mention that you can also find a DC motorMaybe you can try using a brushless DC machine along with a motion controller?

I am building...

Not sure that motor will work since it's top speed is around 140 (at 6V full of questions.

Are there any complications for the design of a 3 Phase AC Induction Motor controller with a DC Bus that is 2-3 times higher than it needs to be. Example 1000V DC Bus but only 300V Max Motor.

What if you use an output LC filter....
Experiment would be using 800V DC bus for Motor 0-200V using 1200V IGBT.Voltage ratings of switches!! also, you are going to apply 1000V pulses to a motor which is only will be relatively poor.
