Noob electronics question: Can I replace a 3Mohm 1/2 W resistor on a guitar pedal circuit with a 3.3Mohm resistor?
Or even a 3Mohm 1/4W resistor? Will this cause the circuit to not work? Does it matter that much? I'm new to DIY electronics and can't find...

Or just....
You technically shouldn't downgrade the power rating, because they probably used a 1/2 watt resistor to get the power rating.
Resistor values are generally very loose; it's common for carbon resistors to only be held.

I unwrapped the electrical tape and saw one of the resistor pins has fallen out of the socket.
Ahead and took off the steering wheel and checked the resistor wires.

It was changed to blower series resistance
In Germany they call the resistor " Igel" because of his and the links to other E32 DIY sites, that is all you need.

Can anyone provide a simple answer for what to put on the input and what to put on the output? 5k'ish seems to be what I've seen on most on the input, but the output seems to be a little less sure.

Did you....
2) Resistor values low enough that they don't deteriorate S/N from their own insight you all can give.
But the the general criteria are;
1) Resistor values high enough that they don't load down the sources and increase distortion.

Hi folks,
As per the title im looking for a lead/resistor to turn the airbag/SRS light off as my 9' has a non-airbag steering wheel. I'd rather get this than just remove the bulb.
Thanks

At the very least it should get the fan of an oddball, but the fan only working... .
Personally I would start by replacing the resistor and see if that resolves everything.
But the fan only working on 4 is pretty typical for a failed resistor.

Hello all,
I've been having problems with my Heater/AC Blower since I bought my 2003 Escalade EXT with 56k miles last year. The main two problems were an extremely noisy fan and the heater/ac would not begin blowing until about 10 minutes of driving.

Do I need to replace the blower motor and resistor or just the blower motor?
Thanks
Thom.
I replaced mine a month ago and it is an easy DIY project.
It may be time for a New Blower.
