10 Points - The base in the DNA that changes to cause this mutation is: .... (See details)? A single base mutation causes the amino acid cysteine to replace trytophan in the primary structure of a protein. The base in the DNA that changes to cause this...

So c) guanine Source(s): bp guanine You little bio cheater! You're taking the easy way out .
It changed to either a T or a C.
The base that changed is the 2nd G of the trp codon .
Codons for cys are TGT or TGC.
Codon for trp is TGG.

Put 'DNA structure' into your browser up.
The structure of the DNA molecule is a double helix, which is like a twisted ladder.

These things are combined to form the 3 parts of a ... .
Thymine (T) 2.AdenineDNA stands are made of a nitrogen base, Deoxyribose (sugar), and Phosphate.
The nitrogen bases are the "steps to the DNA ladder." There are 4 DNA bases: 1.
Can you help me translate DNA to mRNA to tRNA to AA? Please help ? The directions are 1st fill in the complementary DNA strand using DNA base pairing rules 2nd fill in the correct mRNA bases by transcribing the bottom DNA code 3rd translate the mRNA codons...

So it would read, but it's easier to go back to your original DNA sequence and just change all your T's to U's.
RNA doesn't have Thymine, so when you're done, change all your T's to U's.

Cytosine will bond with guanine, thymine, deoxyribose, and a phosphate group, and this is what covalently links the sides of the DNA ladder in the ladder.
Of these bases in DNA, and only two possible combinations.
