Maybe I'm the only one...that would be OK with me. My 2011 Golf TDi DSG has but 2550 miles on it and I've experienced about 10 FNs so far.
The FNs are coming more often now and yesterday I dropped it off at the dealer and they kept it all day doing diagnostics...

I was driving with the DSG in Manual Mode (which I rarely do) in 5th gear on the highway (so that I could get the revs up for passive regen on the DPF). When I pressed the acellerator all the way down and let up, I noticed that the DSG has automatically...

Now i say "button" because i have never actually inspected....the DSG ACTS like an "automatic trasmission" but mechanically it is much closer to a "manual lower gear for more....
And carried the feature over to the dsg.

Anyways, pressure was reduced to an earthly 30 psi and THEN she drove like a dream.
The TD came.
After a weeks of negotiation (for a TD!) they brought home a 2.0 TDI DSG Elegance.

2006 PD with DSG and that means ESP and watch out for the emmission testing procedure here in Az as it not compatible with the existing systems on the automatic Jetta. In a nutshell the testers want to run the rollers and even with the ESP "off" the car...

Oh boy!!
I tried today to do my DSG service using the top fill method, and was hoping that exactly 4.6 liters would drain. But, 6 full liters actually came out. Fluid was 95 degrees F when draining, and car was about 6 inches higher in front than in rear...

Get the temp within range a PIA.
Add so you have about 6 quarts or a little extra.
Figure out how many quarts you have in there at present.
I figure there is a reason I do that, musta read is someplace .
