I talked to 2 lawyers and they seem to not think it will be a problem .
His dui is from 2004 before becoming a resident! I don't.
To the citizenship interview WITHOUT a lawyer present.

Why aren't professional athletes excluded? I have never heard of any pro baseball player ( AL ) or NHL hockey player or NBA player being excluded from going to canada.

It has nothing whatsoever to do with "threats facing DUI down in FL last year.
So we still share the road with drivers with past DUI's DUI a drivers license, then I could understand it.
Again after a 6 month--1 year suspension.

My friend wanted to get his citizenship, but they wouldn't let him because of a felony on his record.
Is there any chance that he can get his citizenship? Most likely, no from what I hear.

I got to the bottom of the instructions were it says yes I do need certified copies :( I have to go through my paper work I don't think I got extras last time! ...I saw by the marrage part it says evidence of your marriage like taxes etc .
