In a nutshell WB feels that people are renting too many movies (this means you Geeko!! ) rather than buying them. So they're going to start a new system where the movies are not released as a rental until 56 days after they were released for sale.

Two suggestions: Find a small, non-chain rental place by googling DVD rental and your-chain rental place by googling DVD rental and your zip code.

Anyone ever try this before? I went to a local super store yesterday and couldnt believe it was only $1.00 to rent a movie.

They were not up for the research and risk of a private points rental, but they felt comfortable with the guarantee offered by renting through satisfied and I would recommend....
DVC rental as well as doing a private rental of points.

Don't have a T-Box so can't say for sure but I would have thought the same setting would apply for FTA as rentals, you would need to confirm that the rental had CC though, I know on Foxtel not all do

I believe because CC are available on the DVD....
All 4 movies I have downloaded have CC available on the DVD's Yes I agree that some Foxtel movies do not have CC.
Unfortunately setting for CC on FTA does not appear on movie rentals..

Been told the minimum package costs 5.99 a month does anyone know how many blu ray films your allowed to have a month.
Am talking about using the postal service and not the download or other services lovefilm offer.

I've got contacts who say online rental companies are shrinking their Blu-Ray with the increased VAT.

The idea seems to be that it is important to show Netflix prices and not as individual streaming "rentals" (pay per view) which shafted Netflix.
Compete with high margin DVD/Bluray.
