Type in "Highland Park High School" in wikipedia, and you'll see that it was ranked 14th best high school in the nation. Newsweek ranked it 11th best a few years ago. Aside from academics, Sports Illustrated ranked it 18th best sports program in the country...

So the UIL tries to make the whole system somewhat equal with enrollment numbers and trying to pair u the districts etc. Why do they not break up the Dallas schools and put them in other districts w other schools. All Dallas districts are bad for everyone...

North Dallas is considered to be a good area. Theres plenty to do, good schools and lost of jobs. It is a little pricey though.
I lived there for a year and now I amin Irving. I like North Dallas better.
Plano is also a good area to live in.
