Type in "Highland Park High School" in wikipedia, and you'll see that it was ranked 14th best high school in the nation. Newsweek ranked it 11th best a few years ago. Aside from academics, Sports Illustrated ranked it 18th best sports program in the country...

Coppell likes to think it's the Southlake.
But Coppell city and school officials say the school is suburban and not Dallas that it is 'prized'.
Will provide an enormous tax boost to Coppell schools and Dallas.

The Dallas side definitely wins to the TRE commuter train....
Probably pretty weak on public transit though.
Its far enough from dallas with good schools.
My son has aspergers and their programs are good.
And has a good school.

North Dallas is considered to be a good area. Theres plenty to do, good schools and lost of jobs. It is a little pricey though.
I lived there for a year and now I amin Irving. I like North Dallas better.
Plano is also a good area to live in.
