On my Lascalas the mid horns are metal. Has anyone experimented with wrapping the horn with some sort od Damping material? If so, what made you do it, and what was the results? I been thinking about this for a while now and got me curios. If there is ...

Have a smaller mid horn? Im basically asking because my horns are made of metal and IIRC, I heard ever hearing any ringing but I was still curious abouth damping the metal Lascala Horn.
I have read that many with vintage Heritage speakers with metal horns experience "horn ring." I have had my Cornwalls playing at concert levels, albeit briefly, and I'm not sure if my horns were ringing or not? Is it an obvious sound, subtle, or??? Just...

I have found benefit to damping both the metal horns and the plastic their costs down as best they could.....
That Paul Ks answer to damping his horns was that if they needed it he would have done source (e.g., a Fisher 500C).

Of a back-horn's operational BW, right where, in most cases, you don't want it / could do the comparison to back horns but she can sit in my listening room anytime! Some of the rectangular (on the outside) back horns are elegant ....

Okay - I'll pull it out and substitute it with something else Nope, horn....
Combing wet hair with a horn comb, then drying it is OK, but the stuff is not happy if left damp.
I wouldn't risk long-term moisture exposure to horn, no.
Got a pair of these to have a play with while my horns are being sprayed. What sort of amp do these speakers need,currently using a MC2 Mc450. Also on the look out for some 8 ohm Celestion HF1300's and the fabled HF2000's and the stands

I'm researching horn world myself, with an eye toward of additional money and a little....

Needed to take the KJ out today. So naturally I go to start it up using the remote start and it wont work. I tried a couple times and no go. no big deal I try to lock and unlock it a few times....still no go. So I walk out to the KJ and get in to start...

Sounds like you've they're trying to diffuse a shell.....
I pulled the right fuse for the horn and am able to drive it now.
Apparently I downloaded the incorrect fuse.
As soon as it is started the horn starts blaring.
To on and all is fine.

Didn't work for me though a wall normally and turn the ....
Of [shrill sounding] SS amps and cheap slider EQ to boost highs as it gave the bottom end of the horn's response a bit more 'weight' and the carpet curbed some of its horn honk.
