I'm wondering how some of you with the vans that take 6x9" speakers in the dash got them to fit? I've got a set of Pioneer 6x9's and and I can't get them to fit they're obviously deeper than the speakers that came out of the van am I going to have to ...

Also of the story - Upgrading the dash speakers did make a great improvement but that's where I should can't they do it on mine....
Took only 15 minutes to do both speakers.
One screw on each speaker till I get time to fab a tab.

I used some polk audio 4x6.
Moved to proper section....
The speakers are right there.
Just pull the dash top off (two screws on either end, one above and up).
It's pretty straightforward.

Basically everything under the cowl and in front of you. Steering wheel bracket, dash plastics, wires from the bulkhead back. No guages, but if I end up finding them, I'll include them for the asking price.

I'm wondering if anyone has managed to fit anything larger in the space on the dash ends where the 3.5" speakers go?
I'm thinking a 4" speaker might fit with a little nipping of the inside of the factory speaker mount.

Just a 400 wat amp running the two new 3.5 the tip off the center of the tweeter mount, and nipped some of the support metal out of the dash pad mount, and nipped some of the support metal....
It out while the guy was building the speaker box.
