I had a dating scan at 12 weeks which put my EDD at a week ahead of the IVF/ICSI dates. At the 12 week scan, the sonographer said "it doesn't matter what your IVF dates were, this is EDD we use now". This seems a bit odd to me, since I know exactly how...

My cycles are 45-60 days so both kids they go from my ovulation date...which how the calculated due dates....
Your last period date assumes a 28 day cycle.
Then your due date will be based from that and NOT from your last period.

The earlier a scan is done the more accurate the date. Ask your dr. Wishing you the best! Congrats!

She dated us at 6wks 1day which is behind what I thought of 6 weeks and 4 or 5 days....
Just saw this hope all went well! How'd it go??? I saw HB at 5+6 It was so amazing!! We got to see a heartbeat and it was 124bpm which the tech said was normal .

Other than that, some OBs do a growth scan very late in pregnancy to see if the baby is in position for birth have b/w done....
If you elect the NT scan, it is done between 11w1d-13w6d.
To this as the gender scan) between 18-22 weeks.

In the Coombe you get a dating scan at 11/12 weeks, the anomaly scan, even when....
No dating an anomaly scan done privately.
My only experience is with Holles St, who only offered me one scan, at around 27 weeks.

My insurance is wack and I have to partially pay for my anatomy scan. I think it'll only end up being 10 or 20% (waiting on the call back) but I'm trying to estimate how much to budget for that.
Also - are there additional ultrasounds after the anatomy...

So it will depend on how your 20 week A/S goes as to whether you have another scan.
Total scan for me is 265$ i know the 18 wk A/S.
I'm interested to see what others say.
I guess that's to be expected ..

Hi girls there has been something playing on my mind since my scan last week. The sonographer measuerd the baby at 6 + 1 days (then last tues) so 6 +6 now but when I called the midwife to arrange my booking appointment she said by my date of my last period...
